It all started back in 2013 when we made our first watch, The Runwell. We only made 2,500 of these limited-edition timepieces, available in two sizes. To our surprise, the 47mm sold out in one week with the 40mm following shortly after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, our Runwell watches continue to embody the spirit of Shinola. Built to last, and named accordingly, every detail of The Runwell was engineered with an obsessive focus to ensure the highest possible quality. With a variety of styles and features, including chronograph, automatic, and quartz watches, a Runwell is made to be a staple accessory for anyone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Crown<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Runwell features a classic pumpkin crown embezzled with our signature Shinola lightning bolt, providing the ability to adjust the time easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applied Arabic numerals accentuate a variety of dials on The Runwell including mother of pearl, silver, green, black, white, cream, blue, gray, and alabaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Runwell cases come in 39.5mm, 41mm, 45mm, and 47mm sizes with a double-domed sapphire crystal. Second only to diamond in hardness, sapphire helps protect the watches from scratches. You can also choose from a polished stainless steel case, a polished gold PVD case, a polished rose gold PVD case, sandblasted gunmetal PVD case, or a sandblasted khaki PVD case, each giving off its own unique flair and style.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Movement<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Depending on the type of Runwell you have, it will either feature the Argonite 1069 Movement or the Automatic Sellita SW260-1 Movement. The high-accuracy quartz movement of the Argonite 1069 drives the hours, minutes, and seconds of a Runwell watch\u202fwith extreme precision. The Runwell Automatic watches feature the Automatic Sellita SW260-1 Movement, which is powered by your motion. This Swiss automatic movement drives the hours, minutes, seconds, and calendar aperture function. Thirty-one jewels help reduce friction to maintain accuracy. Additionally, its 38-hour power reserve keeps the watch going no matter the conditions for a watch you can always count on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Watch Strap<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Runwell watch line comes in a variety of watch strap types, including leather in black, blue, gray, brown, and tan in addition to stainless steel and rose gold PVD bracelets. Fitted with quick-release pins, any Runwell strap is easy to change without any tools required.
