Millions of years and ice ages ago,&nbsp;Michigan was covered with warm sea water and living coral, which eventually turned into the petrified Petoskey stones found today.&nbsp;Hard to spot and very collectible, the legend of these stones have made them natural&nbsp;treasures.<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s nothing better than finding your first Petoskey stone of the season while beachcombing along the northern Michigan shoreline. For this special collection, we hand-polished authentic stones to uncover their ancient beauty and then placed them inside both the iconic Cass and Canfield timepieces.
