As we continue to open stores nationwide, our 2,561 square foot Dumbo location<\/a> still manages to make us feel right at home. To get a better grasp of this new neighborhood, we asked fellow Detroit-born\/New York-based photographer Kate Edwards<\/a> to show us around. From her favorite way to see the city to all her favorite places to grab a bite, we’re excited to explore this side of New York. <\/p>\n

“Ride the NYC Ferry<\/a> for the best view of the city,” Kate says. “This is such a great way to to view NYC and Brooklyn at the same time.” <\/p>\n

Littleneck Outpost<\/a> in Greenpoint, Brooklyn is one of Kate’s favorite eateries. “This cafe\/lunch spot has such a cozy small town feel. They even sell the cutest products, like handmade linen aprons and homemade honey”<\/p>\n

Brooklyn Bridge Park<\/a> in Dumbo, Brooklyn: “This park and river walkway has the best people watching in Brooklyn. And when the sun is setting, it is absolutely breathtaking.” <\/p>\n

Jane’s Carousel<\/a>: “This location is so dreamy. The carousel is in a bigger-than-life glass enclosure that is simply stunning.”<\/p>\n

Vinegar Hill House<\/a> in Dumbo, Brooklyn is one of Kate’s all-time favorite restaurants. “It’s tucked away on this little cobblestone street, that almost feels like it was built as a movie set. There isn’t much else around it, which makes it such a great destination spot in Brooklyn. Also, their cocktails are amazing!”<\/p>\n

Maman<\/a> in Greenpoint, Brooklyn: “The Nutella beignet’s (pictured above) are unbelievably delicious,” Kate says. “All-time favorite lunch spot. Everything is delicious, and every detail is so darn cute.”<\/p>\n
