Tamon George<\/a> is one of those rare creative types who’s not just a content creator and photographer, he also holds a masters degree in business. This D.C. local brings all his passions together at The Creative Theory<\/a>, a content marketing firm he co-founded last year. With Independence Day right around the corner, we had Tamon show us a few of his favorite spots around our nation\u2019s capitol city. #Lovemycity<\/p>\n

“The newly opened La Colombe coffee house in the Chinatown neighborhood \u2014 I stroll here not only for the great roasts, but for the great people. Never too packed to enjoy a personal experience. La Colombe is a second home.\u201d<\/p>\n

“On the rare occasion that Union Station<\/a> is empty, you can experience history. Architecture that inspires, design that speaks to ages gone. I typically enjoy people watching \u2013 Union Station is one of the best spots in the city,” says Tamon.<\/p>\n

Two of Tamon’s favorite places in D.C. include Washington Monument<\/a> and Beuchert’s Saloon<\/a>. <\/p>\n

“Some restaurants you could walk past 100 times and not notice their charm. This restaurant is old Capitol Hill. The Capitol Hill that exists beyond fads and politics. Good food and good people are welcome at all times,\u201d he says. <\/p>\n
